Taisiya Tumanskaya was born in the year 2008 in the city of Arkhangelsk. She graduated from Children’s Music School No. 1 of Arkhangelsk, where she studied under the instruction of teacher Otar Malishava. In 2021, she was admitted to the Central Music School – Academy of Performing Arts, where she is studying under the guidance of teacher Maria Chepurina.
She is a laureate of international and national competitions:
2022 – the First Prize at the XI International Festival-Competition for Young Performers on Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion Instruments named after Yuri Dolzhikov (Moscow).
2023 – the First Prize and the Gold Medal at the XXII Youth Delphic Games of Russia.
2024 – the Third Prize at the II All-Russian Open Youth Competition named after Yevgeny Afanasyevich Mravinsky (Saint Petersburg).
She has participated in creative educational programs at the Sirius Educational Center (Sochi).
She has performed on the stage of the Omsk Philharmonic with a chamber orchestra under the direction of Grigory Vever.
