Sofya Devutskaya was born in 1998 in Voronezh. From the age of five, she studied at the Voronezh Music College in the class of Tatyana Timoshenko, Honoured Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation. In 2014, she entered the Central Music School attached to the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, where she studied in the class of Professor Mikhail Gotsdiner, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation. In 2021, she graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory, and in 2023 completed the Conservatory’s postgraduate assistantship-internship program in the class of Professor Alexei Koshvanets, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation.

- Second Prize at the International Competition for Young Performers named after R. Gummert (Kazan)

- First Prize at the All-Russian Violin Competition named after N. Goldenberg (Saratov)
- Fourth Prize at the International Violin Competition named after Grażyna Bacewicz (Łódź, Poland)
2020
- Third Prize at the International Violin Competition marking the 90th anniversary of Eduard Grach (Moscow)
2022
- Third Prize at the All-Russian Music Competition in the Violin category (Kazan)
2025
- First Prize at the International Competition for String Performers named after N. Shkolnikova (Flasselier, France)
As a soloist, she has performed with the Tatarstan State Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Voronezh Philharmonic Orchestra, the Saratov Symphony Orchestra, the Festival Orchestra of the N. Shkolnikova Summer Academy (Flasselier, France), and others.
She has participated in master classes with Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Roman Kim, Liana Gourdjia, Vladimir Ivanov, Alexander Vinnitsky, and Maxim Fedotov.
