14 June - Slovenia waits for Russian young soloists
June 14, Tuesday at 6.00 p.m. St. Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo invite to Ljubljana for concert of series "Embassy of Musical Mastery" dedicated to the Russia Day The Russian Centre of Science and Culture hosts the laureates of international Competitions - violinist Diana Pasko and pisanist German Kitkin.
Soloists will perform as the recognized masterpieces of Russian Classics and Contemporary Music. Commedia dell'Arte characters come alive in the colorful Stravinsky's Italian Suite comprising "Pulcinella" ballet scenes. Tchaikovsky`s violin series Memories of a Dear Place tells about the composer visit of his patroness Nadezhda von Meck estate. German Kitkin will perform pieces of late piano Romanticism - lyric Rachmaninoff`s Etudes-Pictures. This picturesque series effectively and expressively draw the raging storm and calm, rural landscape and polyphonic fair scene from a Fairy Tale "Little Red Riding Hood".
Diana Pasko (27 years old). Born in Frunze village of the Crimean Region. A Graduate of the Moscow Conservatory (Class of Maya Glezarova). She is currently the Post Graduate Student at the Moscow Conservatory with the same teacher. The Winner of the International Violin Competition «Schlern» (Italy, 2012). The Laureate of Paganini International Competition (Italy, 2015). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2013.
German Kitkin (21 years old). Born in Orenburg. Graduate Student of the Moscow Conservatory (Class of Russian People's Artist Professor Mikhail Voskresensky). The Laureate of International Piano Competition (Denmark, 2013). The Winner of Marguerite long and Jacques Thibaud International Competition (Moscow, 2013). The Member of St. Petersburg Music House Program since 2015.

"Embassy of Musical Mastery" is a unique project of the St. Petersburg Music House and "Rossotrudnichestvo", which takes place since 2012 and includes the creative meetings of leading Russian musicians, as well as tours of the young soloists at the Russian Science and Cultural Centres abroad. The next concert dedicated to the Russia Day will take place in India: 16 June in Calcutta, 18 June in Chennai. The music lovers will listen the Laureates of International Competitions Aylen Pritchin (violin) and Elizaveta Ivanova (piano).
