Vladimir Koznov was born in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in 1990, and began his music studies at Children's School of Music No. 6. In 2004, he entered Novosibirsk Specialized Music School (College) (saxophone class of Honored Artist of Russia Andrey Turygin).
Laureate of international competitions:
2005 - the 1st prize at the 2nd Russian Open Wind and Drum Competition "Siberian Musical Assemblies" (Novosibirsk).
2007 - the 1st Prize in the 17th Russian festival and competition of wind and percussion instrument performers “Ural Fanfare” (Magnitogorsk).
2008- a silver medal at the 7th Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Novosibirsk).
2011 - the 2nd Prize at the 10th Russian National Delphic Games.
He is a grant-holder of the Board of Trustees of Novosibirsk Special School of Music (College), holder of the A.M. Katz Scholarship of the Maestro Charity, he was awarded by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region and the Rostropovich Charity Foundation in 2007. Vladimir has participated in the 4th International festival “Moscow meets friends” of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation (Moscow).
