The quintet was created in 2005 by students of the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory (Class of Honored Artist of Russia, Professor Adil Fedorov). The ensemble included the prize winners of Russian-wide and international competitions.
The quintet is the Grand Prix winner of competition "Petersburg Spring" (2010) and the winner of International Competition of chamber ensembles in Kazan (2014). In 2016 the ensemble became the winner of All-Russian musical competition (Moscow).
The quintet has been actively engaged in concert activity of the Conservatory, peforming at the Glazunov Small Hall, Small Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, Concert Hall of the St. Petersburg State University, etc. The quintet has been cooperating over several years with the Union of Composers, performing works of St. Petersburg composers, annually participating in the festival "Petersburg Musical Spring". All participants of the quinetet are artists of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia Academic Symphony Orchestra.
