Aleksey Tishchenko was born in the year 2007 in the city of Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine). He began his musical education at the Children’s Music School of Dnipropetrovsk. He graduated from the Secondary Specialized Music School of the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov, where he studied under the instruction of teacher Tatyana Liberova. Since the year 2024, he has been a student at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov, where he is studying under the guidance of People’s Artist of Russia and Professor Mikhail Gantvarg.
He is a laureate of international and national competitions:
2022
- the First Prize at the International Youth Music Competition named after Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky (Saint Petersburg);
- the Grand Prix at the International Youth Music Competition dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky (Saint Petersburg);
- the First Prize at the All-Russian Open Youth Competition named after Yevgeny Afanasyevich Mravinsky (Saint Petersburg).
2025
- the Second Prize Award at the IV Victor Tretyakov International Violin Competition (Krasnoyarsk)
He has participated in master classes conducted by Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Davide Grimali, Kristóf Baráti, and Maria Krestinskaya.
He is a recipient of the “Young Talents of Russia” Prize (2023) and of the Prize awarded by the International Foundation for Cultural Initiatives of Maestro Yuri Temirkanov (2019). He has taken part in the “Arts Square” Festival (2018, 2022–2024), as well as in the International Violin Festival “Auer. The Legacy” (2019).
