Vladimir was born in St. Petersburg in 1980. He entered Secondary School of Music at the St. Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Mark Reisenstock) in 1995 and the St. Petersburg Conservatoire (class of Professor, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Roldugin) in 1998. Then, he continued his postgraduate studies with the same professor. Since 2002, he is a member of the Mikhail Gantvarg's ensemble "Soloists of St.Petersburg".
Laureate of international competitions:
1998 - the 2nd Prize at the International chamber ensemble music contest “Gartow Stiftung” (St. Petersburg).
2002 - the 3rd Prize Award in the Karl Davydov International Competition (Kuldiga, Latvia).
2005 - the 2nd Prize Award in the International Maria Yudina Music Competition (St. Petersburg).
In 2003 he took part in master-classes organized by The International Holland Music Sessions Academy (Holland) and Gartow Foundation (Germany).
The musician regularly performs in various ensembles and in various genres from classical performance to jazz improvisations. In 1995, he took part in the program “Symphony for the Earth”, (Peace Symphony) led by Mstislav Rostropovich (Seiji Ozawa and NHK).
