Vladislav Shcherbakov (trombone)

Born in 2001 in St. Petersburg. Vladislav graduated from St. Petersburg Children's Music School No. 33 (class of teacher Boris Ivanov).  He graduated from the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky College of Music  (class of  Kirill Lobikov). Since 2020 he is student at the (St.Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (class of Alexey Lobikov). He plays in the Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella.

• The 2nd Prize Award of the 6th St. Petersburg Open Competition for Wind and Percussion Players (St. Petersburg);
• The Grand Prix of the All-Russian competition for soloists and ensembles "Virtuosos of the Black Earth Region" (Voronezh)

2020

• Laureate of the II prize of the IX international competition of musicians - soloists “Silver Sounds” (Petrozavodsk)

2023

• Winner of a diploma for outstanding performance in the finals of the International music competition Crescendo Music Competitions - 2023, First place (St. Petersburg)
• Laureate of the 1st degree of the International Music Competition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of S.V. Rachmaninov (St. Petersburg)
• Winner of the III Prize of the Sixth All-Russian Symphony Orchestra Competition (Moscow)
• Laureate of the 1st degree of the VII All-Russian open competition of musicians performing brass and percussion instruments named after A.A. Nesterov (Nizhny Novgorod)

 
He participated in workshops by Vladimir Shkolnik and Igor Yakovlev, as well as in creative sessions at the Sirius Educational Center (2017).
 
Vladislav has a busy concert schedule. He performs with leading teams of St. Petersburg.
 
He participates in programs of St.Petersburg Music House since 2018.
