October 9, Friday, at 6.30 p.m., the concert stage of the 14th season of the “River of Talents” project starts in Kazan. Ekaterina Dvoretckaya (harp), a student of Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, Vladislav Odintsov (bassoon), a student of the Moscow Conservatory, and Tagir Kamaltdinov (piano), a finalist of the 2019 project, who will be replacing Daria Lysenko (piano), a student of the High School of Music and Theater in Hamburg, due to quarantine restrictions, will perform in the Salih Saydashev Grand Hall with the State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan. Program: Vivaldi's Concerto for Bassoon, Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto and Glière's Harp Concerto.

October 12 to 15, St. Petersburg Music House welcomes to the public workshops in the framework of the “Embassy of Musical Mastery”, which will be held at the Komi Republic State College of Arts (Syktyvkar). An honored artist of Russia, the soloist of Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra Andrei Khotin (drums) will share his trade secrets. Due to quarantine restrictions, the master classes by People's Artist of Russia, Professor Vladimir Ivanov (violin) have been postponed until November 16-19.
