On April 7, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., the final gala of the 2020/2021 subscription “Music of Stars” will take place in the St. Petersburg State Capella (Moika, 20). Performed by Russia's young stars, the third prize holder from the International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 2019), Alexey Melnikov (piano) and a winner of the International Competition “Riga Classic Strings” (Latvia, 2018) Vasiliy Stepanov (cello) will perform the legendary Piano Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev's Symphony-Concerto for cello and orchestra. Conducted by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexey Vasilyev.

On April 14, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., “Young Interpreters of Russia” will be performing in the Mirror Hall at the Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace (41 Nevsky Prospekt). Clarinetist Gleb Bushin will perform Clarinet concerto by Mozart, pianist Alexey Trushechkin will present Piano Concerto No. 2 by Rachmaninoff. The highlight of the program will be a performance by Daria Shavrina (soprano), who won a special prize for gifted vocalists at the International E. Obraztsova Competition (2020) “Intonation”. Her program will include arias from operas by Rossini and Puccini. Conducted by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Titov.

On April 14, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., a winner of international competitions Alexander Kashpurin (piano) will perform at the Music Hall Theater (Alexandrovsky Park, 4) in a joint program of the St. Petersburg Music House and the orchestra “Northern Symphony”, conducted by Fabio Mastrangelo – “Hungarian Triptych”. The soloist of St. Petersburg Music House will perform Piano Concerto No. 2 by Franz Liszt. The year 2021 will mark the 210th anniversary of the birth of the Hungarian romantic.  There will also be music from 20th-century Hungary by Béla Bartók, who would celebrate his 140th anniversary on March 25, and Zoltán Kodály.

On April 17, Saturday, at 7.00 p.m., for the first time since 2009, the “Young Interpreters of Russia” will perform with the orchestra of the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, opening the spring series of concerts at 20 Moika Street. The program will include Handel's baroque Concerto, quintessential classical style Piano Concerto No. 23 by Mozart, and an example of late Romanticism, Richard Strauss's Oboe Concerto. The soloists are laureates of international competitions Ilia Papoian (piano), Aleksei Ivanov (trumpet) and Dugar Tsybikov (oboe). Conducted by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Titov.

April 28, Wednesday, at 7 p.m.,there will be a concert of the series  “Mariinsky Orchestra and Soloists of the St.Petersburg Music House”. The winners  of international competitions Nikita Lyutikov (clarinet) and Aleksander Ramm (cello) will perform Clarinet concerto by Mozart and Cello concerto by Dvořák at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater (37 Dekabristov). Conducted by Andrey Kolyasnikov.

From April 5 to 8, students of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2021, will be actively involved in the project of St. Petersburg Music House “Embassy of Musical Mastery.” The world-class professionals Alexander Mndoyants (piano), Maxim Fedotov (violin), Dmitry Lukyanov (percussion), Evgeny Petrov (clarinet) will hold open master classes in Voronezh, providing 4 hours of individual training.

From 18 to 28 April, teachers and soloists of St. Petersburg Music House in 4 different disciplines –  cello, flute, bassoon, trumpet – will fill the Nizhnyaya Oreanda in Yalta with sounds of music. As part of the project “Higher Music Performance Courses” there will be private master classes “April Immersive” in the Crimea by the Black Sea. The young soloists will be mentored by Olga Chernyadieva (flute), Sergey Roldugin (cello), Kirill Sokolov (bassoon) and Boris Taburetkin (trumpet).
 
On April 18,  2 p.m., is the final term for applying for qualification for participating in a private master class by People's Artist of Russia, Professor Vladimir Ivanov (violin) to be held at the English Hall of St. Petersburg Music House (122 Moika River Emb.) from May 18 to 21. APPLY NOW

On April 23, Friday, at 7 p.m., People's Artist of Russia, Professor Mikhail Voskresenskiy (piano) will address the lyrical element in the music of Sergei Prokofiev, illustrated by the composer’s piano cycle Visions fugitives. On April 7, Wednesday, at 7.30 p.m., the cycle “Musical Team of Russia” will continue in Sochi, featuring performances of laureates of international competitions Vitaly Petrov (piano), Efim Miasnikov (oboe) and Andrey Samarin (trumpet). A chamber program will include piano transcriptions of masterpieces by Bach, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and rarely performed music for oboe and trumpet by various composers from Europe and America: Giovanni Daelli (Italy), Oskar Böhme (Germany), George Enescu (Romania), Francis Poulenc (France) and Allen Vizzutti (USA). The programme was postponed from December 9th, 2020.

On April 10, Saturday, at 7.00 p.m., the St.Petersburg Music House’s soloist Vasiliy Stepanov (cello) will give a performance in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall within the framework of the collaboration between St.Petersburg Music House and Moscow Philharmonic. The program of a “Young Talents” concert will include Brahms' Concerto for violin and cello with orchestra under the baton of Vyacheslav Valeev. Stepan Starikov, a participant of St.Petersburg Music House programs will play the violin part. The programme was postponed from November 28, 2020.

On April 21, Wednesday, at 6.30 p.m., a programme of the Generation NEXT series, postponed from April 22nd, 2020, will be played in Ekaterinburg. Soloists of St. Petersburg Music House Elizaveta Kliuchereva (piano) and Aleksey Savinkov (oboe) will present a chamber programme from Baroque to 20th century classics at the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic: Bach, Schumann, Liszt, Hindemith.

On April 21, Wednesday, at 7.00 p.m., the Musical Team of Russia will appear at the International festival of classical music “Amber Necklace” in Kaliningrad. The Kaliningrad Philharmonic Society will host the soloists Anna Savkina (violin), Elizaveta Tananykina (oboe) and Vitaly Petrov (piano). They will play the Oboe concerto by Mozart, the Piano Concerto No. 3 by Beethoven and The Scottish Fantasy for violin and orchestra by Max Bruch. On April 21, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., the Moscow's Zaryadye will host a concert by the “Musical Team of Russia”, featuring international competition winners Anna Shchulkina (flute), Lev Zhuravsky (clarinet) and Andrey Telkov (piano). There will be sonatas by C.P.E. Bach, Brahms, Prokofiev, Poulenc, Debussy's Rhapsody and Techno Parade for Flute, Clarinet and Piano by contemporary French composer Guillaume Connesson.

On April 25, Sunday, at 6.00 p.m., a soloist of the St. Petersburg Music House Ravil Islyamov (violin) will perform the Violin Concerto by Mendelssohn at the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi. Also, a joint programme of the “Musical Team of Russia” and the Sochi Symphony Orchestra will include Symphony No. 7 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Conducted by Alexey Aslanov.

On April 28, Wednesday, at 6.30 p.m., a gala of the subscription “Music of Stars” will take place in Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic. The leading soloists of St. Petersburg Music House Alexey Lobikov, a winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition (trombone) and winners of international competitions Vasiliy Stepanov (cello) and Alexander Kashpurin (piano) will perform with an orchestra, conducted by Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Skulsky. There will be a performance of Piano Concerto No. 4 by  Rachmaninoff, Trombone Concerto by Launy Grøndahl, and Cello Concerto by Nikolai Myaskovsky, whose 140th anniversary will be celebrated on April 20.

On April 13, Tuesday, at 7.30 p.m., a concert of the cycle “Russian Tuesdays” is scheduled in Linz, Austria. The St. Petersburg Music House soloists Oksana Sidyagina (harp) and Ilia Papoian (piano) will perform in the Brucknerhaus. The program will offer The Seasons, a piano cycle by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, as well as some mesmerizing harp music from various parts of Europe: Germany, France, and Switzerland.
