On Wednesday, December 22, at 7 p.m., there will be a broadcast dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Italian composer and double bassist Giovanni Bottesini - featuring St. Petersburg Music House soloist Evgeny Ryzhkov (double bass). We will hear Bottesini Introduction and Variations on Carnival of Venice, a Folk Theme, and Koussevitzky Double Bass Concerto.
On Thursday, December 23, at 7.00 p.m., the Internet audience will enjoy "Parade of overtures". Throughout the day, masterpieces of symphonic music from Rossini and Beethoven to Bizet and Prokofiev will be broadcast uninterrupted. The orchestras that regularly collaborate with the St. Petersburg Music House: the St. Petersburg State Capella and the St. Petersburg State Academic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by leading Russian conductors, will perform well-known melodies from the ballets Carmen, Romeo and Juliet, Spartacus, and many others.
On Friday, December 24, at 7.00 p.m., the St. Petersburg Music House welcomes you to a Christmas concert "The Embassy of Musical Mastery ONLINE". Adelina Tazieva (flute), Maxim Akchurin (cello), Vazgen Yusupov (clarinet), violinists Ravil Islyamov and Anna Savkina, and pianists Aleksandr Kluchko and Vladislav Fedorov will appear in the broadcast from the English Hall. On Tuesday, December 28, at 7 p.m., there will be a broadcast of an Oboe World concert featuring soloists from the St. Petersburg Music House's Summer Academy under Professor Alexei Utkin. Young talents Elizaveta Tananykina, Andrei Matyukhin, Efim Myasnikov, Fedor Osver and Dugar Tsybikov will demonstrate the potential of oboe through rarely performed music by Boismortier, Telemann, Pasculli, Hindemith, Britten and Dutilleux. On Wednesday, December 29, at 7 p.m., the St. Petersburg Music House will celebrate International Cello Day with a broadcast of virtuoso cellist Fedor Amosov. It will feature Jazz Rococo for Cello and Orchestra by the contemporary Russian composer Alexander Rosenblatt, who has repeatedly challenged the musical public with his risky compositions.
On Thursday, December 30, at 7.00 p.m., online audience will enjoy "Music for Clarinet" performed by Honored Artist of Russia Evgeny Petrov and the participants of the Summer Academy of St. Petersburg Music House. The program includes Weber, Ponchielli, Debussy, Bernstein and Kovács. Piano part by Elena Serova.
On Friday, December 31, at 2.00 p.m., on New Year's Eve, there will be a broadcast of the winner in the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition (2019), pianist Alexey Melnikov performance with the St. Petersburg State Capella Orchestra. Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 will be played.

On Tuesday, December 7, at 12:00 p.m., The English Hall of the St. Petersburg Music House will host the national round of the Competizione dell' Opera, an international competition of Italian opera artists, whose finals will take place on February 6, 2022 in Moscow on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theater. Online applications for auditions in St. Petersburg are accepted before 12:00 p.m. MSC, December 3 (Friday), at the Competition website. On December 8, 9, and 10, the English Hall of the House of Music (122 Moika Embankment) will host closed master classes for violinists as part of the Higher Music Performance Courses. The young soloists will once again have a chance to meet Boris Kuschnir, professor at the University of Music in Vienna and the University of Arts in Graz, Austria. No public is allowed.
